      Answer to my prayers…

I’ve been through more saddle bags than I care to think of but the 76 Projects Piggy Saddle Case might just be The One. It holds just the right amount and fixes up super tight to there’s no rattling on our awful chip sealed roads. The materials seem pretty robust so they won’t wear through like a lot of saddle bags.

All in all, it’s a superb solution to a perennial problem - so much so that there are now 3 on our regular group rides!

This little piggy rode all the way home

Brilliant bag, fits just about everything you’ll need to fix your bike on the road and will even let you fix a Stix Light if you ride an S-Works Power Saddle like me. Crank up the fat strap and it’s super secure and doesn’t mess with your bike aesthetic like other bags can!

Overall, as simple as the saddle bag is, 76 Projects has really focused on the details that make the difference. It’s a great shape and just works really well while coming in at a decent price.

      0.5l bag mtb

Great bag. But Absolutely not water proof glad I emptied it after the first winter ride as everything in it was wet through had to leave my multi tool on the radiator to dry out and not get rusty this would be the perfect bag if it was waterproof such a shame

      Not as big as expected

Not very impressed tbh,i bought the largest size and found there wasnt enough room for 2 inner tubes as required or anything else.Never used it.

Hi, I'm sorry that the bag isn't as expected. We do publish sizes and a indication of capacity on the product page to help customers choose.

      Good

The Piggy saddle case 0.5ltr is large enough to hold 2 spare tubes or alternatively, 1 tube, 1 multi-tool and tyre levers.
The velcro strap makes sure that the Piggy won't fall off, however my strap has developed a tear after very limited use.
I'm not sure whether this is down to me over-tightening the strap on the saddle rails or if is a design issue.
Either way, I have replaced the Piggy after less than a months use.

Hi Darren, the strap should definitely not tear with the forces required to cinch the zip case down. Will send you a replacement.

      Piggy Saddle Case

I'm happy with this saddle bag. The bag slipped out of the strap a couple of times so adjusted how it was fitted hasn't happened since.
