Frustrated with floppy bags, worn paintwork and cafe stop faff we sort to design as system this strapless quick release system for top tube bags/bento boxes/fuel pods. Works with most bag and bike combinations.

A.S.S. Slider

Replaces top tube straps

  • Bonds* to the top tube OR screws directly to bosses
  • Slide on/off quick-release - ideal for taking your valuables with you
  • 2 piece - 1 attaches to top tube, 1 attaches to bag
  • Works with bolt-on bags and others which can be easily converted**
  • No headtube strap required for small bags / bento boxes. Large bags may require use of the headtube strap or ASS Clip.

    *Using the supplied custom cut VHB pads - successfully used on thousands of our ENDURO mounts

    ** Instruction on converting non-bolt-on bags to bolt-on can be found online, in our experience stiffer bags are better for conversions.

    The A.S.S Clip has ben discontinued. We recommend the DeWidget by drj0n bagworks as an alternative.

          Nice to not have straps

          Installed on Tri bike for top tube storage. It is nice to not have straps and bag movement

          It’s nifty but weak design and doesn’t stand up to regular use

          Used this system to have a transferable bag between several bikes so I could keep one set of tools but transfer from bike to bike. Using on an off road bike the top tube bag would regularly fall off and after several falls the attachment system on the bag side broke at one point rendering the whole system useless. Nice idea but failed on practical use

          A good idea, but...

          Tha A.S.S. system is a sound idea but in practice the adhesive mount won’t suit all frames, e.g. mine. My titanium frame top tube is a diamond shape and, try as I might, I could not get the adhesive to make a decent enough purchase on the tube. The issue being that when I dismount (say at traffic lights) my legs collide with the bag and the whole mount simply comes off. Back to the drawing board for this bike at least.

          Very sturdy and convinient

          I've been using these on bone-rattling gnaly Peruvian gravel, and I never had to worry about my top tube bag. In fact, the best part is that my top tube bag kinda gets invisible to me which helps me focus on ever-changing terrain of the ride.
          Another feature of the clip is to secure holding straps of my Garmin and Cycliq to my steerer tube, which makes me double-worry-free.
          I am making repeat purchases. Gonna convert all my top tube bags to this system.
