Details

Specifically designed to work with tubeless systems.

NEW SUPER SHORT SIZE 0 & EXTRA LONG SIZE 4

76 Projects' HI FLOW valves have 4x the air throughput and a redesigned core that helps prevent sealant build-up.

Tubeless bike tyres and rims were introduced 20 years ago yet tubeless systems still use the Presta valve standard from the 1890's. The clearances in a Presta valve are smaller than the holes that sealant is supposed to be able to block so it's no surprise that the valves get clogged.

  • 'No Clog' internals - Greatly increased clearances prevent sealant build up*.
  • 4x greater air flow (compared to Presta) - Fill the tyre faster to help seat and seal the bead.
  • Sealant can be directly injected through the valve centre (see pic). However, because the valves allow such fast and reliable inflation we recommend adding sealant directly to a unseated section of the tyre.
  • Just 9 grams a pair.
  • High precision CNC machined aluminium.
  • Spare parts available here.
  • Sizes 0 & 1 Compatible with rim protection inserts.
  • Compatible with push-on CO2 inflators, adapter required for screw-on inflators.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • *Some sealants with very large particles such as Silca Ultimate may still clog in some circumstances. For these sealants we recommend added directly to the tyre rather than through the valve and also not to remove air via the valve when the valve is at the 6 o'clock position.
  • Due to the hi-flow, if the tyre are deflated with the valves at 6 o'clock the sealant may be siphoned out of the tyre. For that reason the valve should be at another position.
  • WORKS WITH LEVER LOCK STYLE PUMPS AS STANDARD. ADAPTER AVAILABLE FOR USE WITH SCREW-ON OR DIRECT PUSH-ON** PUMPS. Select as an option or available here **No adapter required for One Up EDC pump
  • Does NOT work well with pumps that use the TOPEAK SMART HEAD as the internals are not conventional. We recommend using the screw on adapter.

Size 3 - 45-65mm rim height* - DEEP SECTION AERO

Size 4 - 60-85mm rim height* - DEEP SECTION AERO

*unlike normal valves our HI Flow valves are specified by the rim height rather than the valve length.

BANG! The bead snapped into place almost instantly. We really did not expect such a dramatic result. We always use a small amount of soapy water to assist seating, but used very little this time and can only attribute this to the much higher flow rate of the valves.

What can I say? These are the future of MTB valves. Why would you use a Presta valve ever again when these are available?

One of the best products I have tested to date and I will be fitting these to all my bikes in the near future.

‘Hi Flow’ Tubeless Valves – the end of Presta?

I fitted a pair and BAM! Well actually more a poof! I was able to seat a pair of Schwalbe X-One tyres to some Mavic Open Pro UST rims using just a track pump. It was easy, just a few strokes and up they went. So, so far the ‘Hi Flow’ valves have impressed. They stayed sealed, no leaking around the valve, I’m happy.

If you're constantly unclocking clogged Presta valves or running a tubeless setup, the 76 Projects HI FLOW 'No Clog' Tubeless Valves are an absolute must-have. Although it takes a little more to install them, they perform exactly as promised, making tyre inflation much quicker and easier at a price that's incredibly competitive to traditional tubeless valves. These valves may just spell the death of Presta.

Use the message facility -> if you have question that isn't answered here.

Can I inject sealant directly in to the valve? The valve 'core' is hollow so sealant can be injected directly via a 5mm internal diameter tube. Simply undo the brass nut, and make sure the valve 'core' is pushed down. However, we always recommend unseating a section of tyre and putting sealant directly in. That way the sealant level can be observed. Because of the hi-flow nature this method is much easier than with presta valves. *Some sealants with very large particles such as Silca Ultimate may still clog in some circumstances. For these sealants we recommend added directly to the tyre rather than through the valve

Are valves compatible with tyre inserts? Yes, size 0 and 1 valves have base nuts with side ports that are compatible with tyre inserts.

Are the valves compatible with Tyrewiz? No, tyrewiz requires and presta style valve.

Due to the hi-flow, if the tyre are deflated with the valves at 6 o'clock the sealant may be siphoned out of the tyre. For that reason the valve should be at another position.

              Awesome valves

Very pleased with the valves - air flow is much improved, seating tyres was a breeze. And importantly, no clogging

Good solution to replace blocked presta valves in tubeless road setups

Easy and quick to fit, they work superbly well, great to be able to pump up road tyres quickly again. Sturdy build quality.

              Great little valves

Got the smallest size for my MTB to change back to my winter tyres after my muc off valves became all gummed up and awkward to let air out of. Easy to fit. Front tyre went straight on the bead. Rear was a little harder (27.5 x 2.8 Big Betty) but still groovy. Also in magenta to match other parts. My only criticism would be the thought of losing the cap but we will see. Overall, they do what they advertise and if needed I'd buy them again.

              Hi flow tubeless valves

Easy to fit and inflate. After 2000km tour they lost very little pressure and in 18 days have only needed a couple of top ups. No clogging as advertised and they inflate easily. Minor inconvenience of having to use (and not lose!) adapter as my portable pump is **** on. A

Well made and they do what they say.

Lovely looking valves, well made and they certainly aid inflation when using a hand pump. Only just installed so can’t comment yet on how they handle long term exposure to sealant, but so far so good.
