76 Projects' HI FLOW valves have 4x the air throughput and a redesigned core that helps prevent sealant build-up.

Tubeless bike tyres and rims were introduced 20 years ago yet tubeless systems still use the Presta valve standard. The clearances in a Presta valve are smaller than the holes that sealant is supposed to be able to block so it's no surprise that the valves get clogged.

  • 'No Clog' internals - Greatly increased clearances prevent sealant build up.
  • 4x greater air flow (compared to Presta) - Fill the tyre faster to help seat and seal the bead.
  • Sealant can be directly injected through the valve centre (see pic). Because the valves allow such fast and reliable inflation we recommend adding sealant directly to a unseated section of the tyre.
  • Just 9 grams a pair.
  • High precision CNC machined aluminium.
  • Spare parts available here.
  • Sizes 0 & 1 Compatible with rim protection inserts.

WORKS WITH LEVER LOCK STYLE PUMPS AS STANDARD. ADAPTER AVAILABLE FOR USE WITH SCREW-ON OR DIRECT PUSH-ON* PUMPS. Select as an option on available here.

BANG! The bead snapped into place almost instantly. We really did not expect such a dramatic result. We always use a small amount of soapy water to assist seating, but used very little this time and can only attribute this to the much higher flow rate of the valves.

What can I say? These are the future of MTB valves. Why would you use a Presta valve ever again when these are available?

One of the best products I have tested to date and I will be fitting these to all my bikes in the near future.

‘Hi Flow’ Tubeless Valves – the end of Presta?

I fitted a pair and BAM! Well actually more a poof! I was able to seat a pair of Schwalbe X-One tyres to some Mavic Open Pro UST rims using just a track pump. It was easy, just a few strokes and up they went. So, so far the ‘Hi Flow’ valves have impressed. They stayed sealed, no leaking around the valve, I’m happy.

If you're constantly unclocking clogged Presta valves or running a tubeless setup, the 76 Projects HI FLOW 'No Clog' Tubeless Valves are an absolute must-have. Although it takes a little more to install them, they perform exactly as promised, making tyre inflation much quicker and easier at a price that's incredibly competitive to traditional tubeless valves. These valves may just spell the death of Presta.

Try them to see how good they are

The valves really do allow a higher airflow and this does seem to help with tyre mounting in particular. Also the way that the stem has a removable internal plug to aid fitting is a great detail. Will buy again!

    Response to reply

I have seen your reply, a few things I'd like to add, as you seem to miss out things tobsuit your review.
    1. Yes I returned as ordered valves too long, but didn't expect a premium priced product in a second hand battered box, and some of the colour taken off the valves due to second hand.
    2. I returned the valves, I was origonally told valves had not arrived back yet then a few days later told they had arrived back, I was asked by other member of staff if posted recorded when I said no 2nd class I'm then told oh I made a mistake I was on turbo trainer when replied and replied to wrong person. How convenient ha.
    3. I have since contacted royal mail who did an investigation nothing to suggest not delivered but not recorded.
To be honest the refund is irrelevant now. But I feel I've been lied to. And the item did in fact get delivered back. But once 76 found out not recorded decided to change mind and saythat they never received them and made error.
Make sure if returning to this company thst you record parcel.
Dishonesty not a good company policy for £25

Hi Graham, even more than the quality of our products we pride ourselves on customer service. Please refrain from accusing us of lies and dishonesty, you are misrepresenting the email conversations we have had.
Despite the above I do have sympathy for the situation of RM losing your return so will be giving you a 50% refund.
We always send using a tracked service and we recommend that customers also send any returns back using a tracked service. We will make this clearer from now on.
    Kind regards
    Rob

    Solution looking for a problem

I bought into the hype from the bikepacking.com article, but these things have been an enormous disappointment. They basically dont work at all, as it seems the o-ring seal has failed. Plus, you need an adaptor that you have to buy separately if you need to thread anything at all onto the valve stem - think airshot tanks for inflation, etc. Really, overall, they aren’t worth the cost of a postage stamp.

    Hi Jack,
From reading you description something is clearly not right with your valves. Please email info@76projects.com and we will investigate.
The requirement for an adapter when using a screw on pump head is clearly stated on the product page. If we could achieve the same hi flow with a design that was compatible with all pumps we would.

    Clog free valves

Early days, but these make tubeless on the road bike easy. Pumping up is a joy it is so much better than a std valve. I was closing valves all the time and finding it frustrating to live with. These seem to reslove that issue. Good price too considering the competition.

    Returned

The values I had been sent were second hand ie someone tried to fit them or fitted and didn't like them so sent back, I could tell by where some of the pink had been taken off the threads and the package box was all ripped.
I sent these back as requested but conveniently they tell me they have not received them back from royal mail, posted 16 days ago. When I questioned getting valves that had been used they said that probably got sent string from returns without being processed properly.
    I'm disappointed in whole process.

    Hi Greame,
We've already corresponded via email but as this review is public we wanted the opportunity to respond.
You requested to return because you purchased the incorrect length. The damaged box was mentioned but not the threads.
We immediately responded with our returns address. However, we never received the valves back from you so we have been unable to refund. Understandably you are frustrated but we are not responsible for the return shipping on an incorrectly purchased item.
We hope you are able to claim from Royal Mail.
